Turnaround Time

Turnaround time depends on the number of words, style of language (e.g. technical language or jargon) and format desired. My average daily output is 2,000-2,500 words, but I must also factor in additional time for terminology research and proofreading.

My Code of Ethics
  • I only translate into my native language (English).
  • I will never accept a project that I deem to be beyond my capacity as a translator.
  • Sensitive information contained within your documentation will not be disclosed to any other parties. If you wish, I can sign a confidentiality agreement.
I have endorsed the ProZ.com Professional Practices for Language Service Providers.

First and foremost, my goal is to preserve your ideas while providing an accurate, natural-sounding translation in the style and register appropriate for your text. I strive for conceptual and cultural equivalence rather than linguistic equivalence.

Sometimes it pays to be a perfectionist. I carefully research all terminology and proofread my work before submitting it to you in order to maintain the highest standards of quality. If I discover a discrepancy or error in the source text during the translation process, I will point it out to you.

Lastly, I believe that communication with the client is of paramount importance. I will keep you informed of my progress on the project to ensure that the end-product meets your needs and expectations. I am available to discuss project details through Skype, by phone and/or email.
